SLOW DOWN — advice nobody has ever taken first time.
Massive wood-type lettering with a snail engraved between the words, complete with speed lines.
The joke and the instruction are the same thing.
Part of the Woodcut Type Series — heavy wood-type lettering wrapped around a small engraved scene, in the language of old fairground and letterpress bills.
