THE PITCH — chalk and grass.
A perfectly mown pitch in two greens, seen from above, every line freshly laid.
Somebody spent Friday getting that right.
Part of the Matchday Series — twelve small details of a Saturday afternoon, drawn in the language of old travel posters.
